This week we spent some time going over the 9 "Lessons" of Digital Photography:
- Experiment
- Check your backgrounds
- Hold your camera steady and straight
- Get in close
- Take lots of photos
- Get the balance right between people, places, and things
- Find a point of interest
- Use your focal lock
- Use different modes for different situations
After this we used those "Lessons" and did a photo scavenger hunt around the school. Once those pictures were put on the computer, we took our 3-4 favorites and used an online program called Picnik to make collages. As you can see, we also took advantage of the program's editing and effects options! Here are a few of the collages.
